Evendark

Busy busy lately. We had a good time this weekend, went to Nightshade Manor, a haunted house here in Midtown. Was really fun and oddly very well done. The sets, actors and costumes were really realistic. We went as a group of nine, so we had zombie-protection with the guys on the outside and us girls hiding out in the middle. We also watched Sarah Palin on SNL afterwards, what a TOOL!!!

We found a house we like, just a few blocks from where we are now. It's beautiful with a big yard.





It's one of those old midtown houses that's been renovated. I love it! It's pricey, on the high end of what Erik and I want to spend but we both loved it. That and the deposits are low for security and the dog. We'd be renting from the owner, which is always good. Hope we get it. I mean, I don't see why we won't. Erik fought me on it a little because it has floor gas heat and he's scared it will be expensive, but in the end, he loved it too. That and he wants me to be happy, cause he is awesome.

My boss has been sick, it's been peaceful at work. He hasn't missed a day in 15 years. Wow.
